WHAT WE BELIEVE
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
THE ONENESS OF GOD
We believe in the absolute oneness of God. There is only one God who has manifested Himself as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in regeneration and sanctification. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 3:16)
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. (John 1:1-14, 1 Timothy 3:16, Acts 4:12)
SALVATION
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is received through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:38, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers believers for Christian service and living. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, as evidenced by speaking in tongues, is available to all believers and is essential for personal sanctification and victorious living. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Romans 8:9-11)
HOLINESS
We believe that God calls us to live a holy and separated life. This includes both inward and outward holiness, reflecting the character of Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions. (1 Peter 1:15-16, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Hebrews 12:14)
THE CHURCH
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, comprised of all born-again believers. The mission of the church is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world, making disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 4:11-16)
THE SECOND COMING
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for His church. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the eternal reign of Christ in the new heaven and new earth. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21:1-4)
